The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To
know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and
equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man
knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will
increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise
counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the
words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the L-rd
is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the
gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye
simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight
in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my
reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my
hand, and no man regarded;
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with

(Proverbs 2:2) 4. If you apply
your heart to understanding 5. If you cry after knowledge
(Proverbs 2:3) 6. If you lift
your voice for understanding 7. If you seek for knowledge as for silver
(Proverbs 2:4) 8. If you search
for knowledge as for hidden treasure
Eight Blessings of Obedience I:
1. Then you
will understand the fear of the L-rd (Proverbs 2:5) 2. Then you will find the knowledge of G-d. 3. Then you will receive wisdom from G-d
(Proverbs 2:6) 4. Then you will receive knowledge from G-d. 5. Then you will receive understanding from G-d. 6. Then you will receive protection from G-d
7. Then you will have security in G-d
(Proverbs 2:8) 8. Then you will have preservation in life.
