Yield to the Lord!
It came to pass after this also, that
the children of
Moab, and the children of Ammon,
and with them other beside the Ammonites,
1* came against Jehoshaphat
to battle. [2] Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying,
There cometh
2* a great multitude against thee
from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they
be Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi. [3]
And Jehoshaphat
3*
feared, and set himself
to seek the Lord, and proclaimed
a fast throughout all Judah. [4]
And Judah gathered themselves together, to
ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came
to seek the Lord.
[5] And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in
the house of the Lord, before the new court, [6] And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou
God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the
heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is
able to withstand thee? [7] Art not thou
our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy
people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for
ever? [8] And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein
for thy name, saying, [9] If, when
evil
cometh upon us, as the sword,
judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy
presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our
affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. [10] And now, behold, the children
of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade,
when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and
destroyed them not; [11] Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast
us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. [12] O our
God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have
no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither
know we what to do: but our eyes are upon
thee. [13] And all Judah stood
before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their
children.
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of
Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the
Lord in the midst of the congregation;
[15] And he said, Hearken ye, all
Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king
Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you,
Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours, but G-d's! [16] To morrow go ye down
against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find
them
at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of
Jeruel. [17] Ye shall not need to fight in
this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and
see the salvation of the Lord with you,
O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be
dismayed; to morrow go out against them:
for the Lord will be with you! 18
And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his
face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell
before the Lord, worshipping the Lord. [19] And the
Levites, of the
children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the
Korhites, stood up to
praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud
voice on high.
[20] And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the
wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said,
Hear Me, O Judah, and ye
inhabitants of Jerusalem;
Believe in the
Lord your God, so shall ye be established;
believe His prophets,
so shall ye prosper. [21] And when he had consulted with the people, he
appointedsingers unto the Lord,
and that should praisethe beauty of holiness, as they
went out before the army, and to say,
Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
[22] And when they began to sing and to praise,
the Lord setambushments against the
children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir,
which were come against Judah; and they were
smitten. [23] For the
children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the
inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they
had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir,
every one helped to destroy another. [24] And when Judah came toward
the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and,
behold, they were dead bodies fallen
to the earth, and none escaped.
[25] And when Jehoshaphat and his people came
to take away the spoil of them,
they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and
precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they
could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the
spoil, it was so much!
(Exodus 14:13)
(Deuteronomy 1:29) Be not afraid!
It will be the battle of the

Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

(V.
3): (Ezra 8:21) Then I proclaimed a fast
there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our G-d
to seek from Him a straight {and} right way for us, our little ones, and
all our possessions. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Call to Me and I will answer you
and show you great and mighty things, fenced in {and} hidden, which you
do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and
understand). (Proverbs 13:12) Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but
when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
(V.
4): (Joel 1:14) Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather
the elders and all the inhabitants of the land
in the house of the Lord,
your G-d, and cry to the Lord [in penitent pleadings].
(V.
9): (2 Chronicles 6:28-31) If there is famine in the land, if
there is pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts, or caterpillars, if their
enemies besiege them in any of their cities, whatever plague or sickness
there may be, Then whatever prayer or supplication any man or all of
Your people Israel shall make--each knowing his own affliction and his
own sorrow and stretching out his hands toward this house--Then hear
from heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive, and render to every man
according to all his ways, whose heart You know; for You, You only, know
men's hearts, That they may fear You and walk in Your ways as long as
they live in the land which You gave to our fathers.
(V.
11): (Psalm 83:12) Who say, Let us take possession for ourselves
of the pastures of God.
(V.
12): (2 Corinthians 3:5) Not that we are fit (qualified and
sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to
claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability
{and} sufficiency are from G-d.
(V.
14): (Numbers 11:25) And the L-rd came down in the cloud and
spoke to him, and took of
the Spirit
that was upon him and put It upon the seventy elders; and when
the Spirit
rested upon them, they
prophesied
[sounding forth the praises of G-d and declaring His will]. Then they
did so no more.
(V.
15): (Exodus 14:13) Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still
(firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He
will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall
never see again. (Deuteronomy 1:29) Then I said to you, Dread not,
neither be afraid of them!
(V.
15,16, 17): (Isaiah 54:17) But no
weapon
that is formed against you
shall prosper, and every tongue
that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show
to be in the wrong!
This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the
heritage of the servants of the L-rd [those in whom the ideal Servant of
the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness {or} the vindication
which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their
justification], says the Lord!
(V.
17): (Amos 5:14) Seek (inquire for and require) good and
not evil
that you may live, and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said.
(V.
18): (Exodus 4:31) And the people believed; and when they heard
that the Lord had visited the Israelites, and that He had looked [in
compassion] upon their affliction,
they bowed their heads and worshiped.
(V.
20): (John 11:40) Jesus/Yeshua said to her, Did I not tell you
{and} promise you that if you would believe {and} rely on Me, you would
see the glory of G-d? (Romans 8:31) What then shall we say to [all]
this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if
G-d is on our side?]

sword against his comrade and against all the army, and the army fled as
far as Beth-shittah toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel-meholah

3):Yeshua's
promise to the believers of today!
For
verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and
shall not doubt in his heart,
but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever
he saith. (Mark 11:23; KJV) Here,
faith without doubting is the condition to meet if one wants the
fulfillment of the benefits! The prediction or promise is that everyone
who meets the condition will be answered, even to the moving of
mountains
(Matthew 17:20; Matthew 21:21-22).
Everyone without exception is promised everything he asks in prayer,
provided he qualifies for an answer!
Have unlimited faith without qualifying and limiting G-d's will or what
you want! (or your urgent need!)
Refuse to doubt in your heart! (Picture:
Noah had great faith to build the Ark!Y)
Never say "if
it be Thy will" concerning anything you ask that is
definitely promised of God in His word!
PLEASE, do NEVER pray to the
Lord: "O L-rd the mountain
is so huge! Help me to
remove it!"
That's a weak statement of faith! PRAY like this: "Oye mountain! My G-d, who I serve is far
bigger than you! I move you in the Mighty Name
of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ)!...Amen!"
Mountains here are referring to your circumstances or difficulties in life!
