The prophet is one who sees beyond your “common present”

The prophet is one who sees beyond your “common present” circumstances and gives you access to future events in your life! He refuses to be controlled by your fears, errors, and mistakes, but rather makes a courageous demand on your ability to progress. You cannot do this without a Divine revelation as a view into the future, which is what the prophet allows you to see!

The prophet is a precious vessel of God. His words always bring hope and enrichment to the individual, congregation and community. Through his connection with the Lord, the prophet offers the individual a revelation and future destination in a short-time moment. The experience for the listener is an opportunity to let go of their past, their pain, superficiality and their cynicism, and just to accept the grace and love of God! The listener is made aware that life-future- time enrichment is a Divine gift offered to them in an short (to be accepted) opportunity!

There is confusion & miss-understanding about the Office of the Prophet! Much of the irrelevancy in the nowadays church is a result of misguided and neglected gifts that ultimately create a class of behavior that misrepresents and prejudges with superficiality & religiosity  the true Prophet! Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. (Psalm 105:15)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6) 

Setting Gods destiny before you!

The prophet has the ability to “set Gods destiny before you” as well “Lost destiny” in way of choices with their consequences! Mostly very precise in what, how and which kind of function and anointing! In spite off in the face of present pain and despair! It guides you with hope and joy to your place of Divine destiny! It is of essential importance of the Prophet to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit herein and obey Him!

Carrying certain aspects of future events!

The prophet carries certain aspects of future events as determined by God. He is a contradiction to present circumstances because of the foreknowledge or foresight that inspires him. He is merely a useful vessel and is often unaware of the implications of the impression, but carries a certain burden until this is released. His words always bring hope, vision, acknowledge, encouragement, enrichment and even correction to an individual, congregation, community, saints and also to the unsaved one! It like a personal love-letter from the Father Himself to you!

In the past few months we have looked at how to discern God's will when we have to take decisions. Let’s summarize what we have gone through. When you are confronted with an important decision ask yourself the following questions.

1. Heart Relationship- Will this decision affects my relationship with God? Will I have time to pray and read the Bible?
2. Glorifying God-Is God glorified in this decision? Or will it bring dishonors to his name?
3. Motive -Is my motive pure regarding this decision? Am I taking this decision with integrity of heart?
4. Priority-Am I giving first place to God in this decision? Or am I putting self ahead of God?
5. Prayer-Have I prayed about this decision? Or am I rushing into a decision because of external pressure?
6. Word-What does the Bible say about this decision? Is it complimenting my decision?
7. Peace-Do I have inner peace about the decision? Or do I have a continuous struggle within me?
8. Wisdom-What does wisdom says about the decision? Have I looked into all sides of the decision and its consequences?
9. Counsel-What do my counselors say about the decision? Are they in agreement?
10. Others-Is this decision a blessing or a stumbling block to others?
11. Doors-Has God divinely intervened in the decision? Has he opened the door or have I opened it in my own strength?
12. Timing-How is the timing of the decision?

To discern the voice of God through His Prophets!

God is speaking by His prophets and through His servants, whom He sends your way. The Scriptures and the Holy Spirit are always in harmony! Sometimes there could be confusion to discern and to understand, when the prophet or false prophet is speaking to your heart and it could be difficult to discern that the Holy Spirit is speaking personally to you! Therefore here are some directions how to discern and to understand ‘the voice’, who is speaking to you! You will be able to understand and discern the voice of the Holy Spirit loud and clear; when your relationship with God increased! Not only inside your heart, but prophets who prophecy or by ministers who preach the Word and (or prophetic ministers) to you!.  Who so ever speaks, you must be able to discern and recognize the voice of God or “another one”. There are three voices to discern and to recognize:

1. The voice of the Holy Spirit!
2. The voice of your own mind!
3. The voice of the enemy!

 1. The voice of the Holy Spirit!

His voice is convincing, without having to push Himself. He knocks on the door of your heart and asks…, His voice is full of peace and love and never in a hurry. There is rest from His presence. It shall amaze you what He speaks about and says; “Don’t be afraid”! He gives the honor to the Messiah Yeshua. Your heart becomes filled with worship and thankfulness for God. Peace is with you! His words are staying and are always in harmony with the Word of God! He shows you a specific purpose and shall never forsake to confirm these words also through others (prophets). All that He speaks to you will come to pass if you obey Him! His voice is confirmed and never leads you to confusion! (It is the lack of knowledge that bring mostly the confusion!)  Your faith shall grow. He convinces you of the truth and leads you to the plan of God and the Way to Messiah Yeshua! His presence glorifies Messiah Yeshua!  No guilt, blame or judgment will he lay upon you!  When He is correcting you, is it always in love! He shows you your sin, your unrighteousness and iniquity, then He convicts, converts, and enables you to confess, so that sin is no hindrance between God and you!....But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22)

 2. The voice of your own mind!

The voice out of your flesh. (Carnal source) This voice does not always convince and gives no confirmation through others, unless they will speak smoothly words to impress you and others! It shall not amaze you, because it was already in your deepest thoughts. It responds according to your circumstances and points to the carnal things and not to God! It seldom becomes reality and you shall probably forget it very soon, because there is no foundation in it...For the flesh lusted against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. (Galatians 5:17)

In this case it shall give only frustrations and confusion! You will not experience God’s love and presence! Mostly it will give its own interpretations. It’s not bringing the real peace of God into your heart, but it gives the honor to our own flesh and carnal desires! Well-pleasing words, but not of God!

We have to surrender our thinking and thoughts to the Almighty God, so that our decisions are approved by God and be led by the Holy Spirit. We have to recognize our human thinking is necessary to make natural decisions. But if we have to understand the spiritual things of God, then our human mind is not able to understand, because it is a higher and a divine level of thinking. With our human thinking, or carnal way of thinking, we would have to fail. Therefore we need the Holy Spirit, who makes us able to understand the spiritual levels of God in a supernatural and Divine way.

 3. The error voice of the enemy!

He doesn’t lead you, but he presses himself on you without asking. He pushes you into a specific situation and gives blame and guilt to you!  He bases everything on guilt and mistakes from your past. He shall bring you into the atmosphere of unfairness and insecurity! He causes wrong turbulence in your life and you become confused! You don’t see the reality in it anymore! The evil one is driving you up and lets you blame God for your terrible situations! You will have questions, questions and more questions! It is to satisfy your carnal desires and lead you to sinful behavior, aversion to God, always against the Word, or otherwise he abuses the Word of God. He is tempting God and you through your thoughts!

He challenges you (in an evil way). Don’t be mistaken, but the evil one or a demon spirit can speak to you through people, yes through false prophets from whom you don’t suspect! He abuses people for his evil purpose. He will also use well-pleasing beautiful words to deceive you! Words which satisfy your carnal desires!  His voice is impulsive and pushes you into impulsive action also. No waiting, No praying, but now, now, now! There is impatiently in his voice. He knows to speak to you during moments of weakness (not necessary). He is a coward and is waiting for every opportunity and then he hits directly!  He is lying as a predator by your ‘door’ (See also in Genesis 4:7)  When you live in sin or live outside the will of God, you will open the ‘doors’  of your heart for these waiting predators. He speaks with words of truth, mixed with his lies!

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1)  In order to get money to spend upon their own lusts, they fabricate counterfeit doctrines, false theories and fake miracles to deceive!

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confessed that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confessed not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:1-3)
